| Swansea Patriots |
The mission of the Patriots is to raise funds for procuring parks and recreational equipment for the Village by means of fund raisers determined by the members of the organization. All monies received into the Patriot's general fund shall be used only to purchase equipment, to make improvements, or to purchase land to increase the park acreage within the Village. Membership is open, subject to approval of majority of members present at any regular meeting. No members shall receive any salary or compensation for duties performed. The Patriots have only one fund raiser per year, the Camelot Auction held on the 2nd Saturday of November. In 2005 the Patriots were designated a "non-profit" organization. All donations made directly to the Patriots are tax deductible Meeting are held once a month, from June through December, additional meetings are called as needed. In the past years the Patriots have raised over $300,000 for Swansea parks; Mel Price, Centennial, and Schranz Memorial Parks.

The purpose of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society; The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life; The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. | American Legion |
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
