The Swansea Senior Society meets the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. at the Norman Lehr Community Center (in Melvin Price Memorial Park, 1500 Caseyville Avenue) for food and fellowship. Meetings include a potluck dinner or dessert, 10 games of BINGO (25 cents per card) and a brief meeting. Each month members take turns bringing a dessert to share and every three months the Society hosts a potluck luncheon. The meat and/or main dish is provided. Members each bring in a covered dish to share. This is a great way to meet other seniors in your neighborhood and swap recipes. Seniors also have several other outings each year and include; Our Lady of the Snows - Way of Lights, trips to various casinos, and an afternoon drive to Grafton to view the beautiful fall leaves and have lunch.
