Responsibilities


The Patrol Division is responsible for patrolling the village, responding to calls for service throughout the village, and enforcing Criminal Laws and Traffic Laws of the State, as well as village ordinances. 

  

Patrol Units


The patrol officers employ 12-hour shifts.

Serves to provide the department with more personalized and accessible service and security within the village. 
 
Sex Offender Compliance Detail <---CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
 Serves to verify sex offenders in the village are compliant with their registration requirements. 
 
Parole Compliance Detail <---CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
 Serves to ensure individuals are complying with the terms and conditions of their parole or probation. Serves to provide referrals as needed or requested to assist individuals with reintegration into the community. 
   
Code Enforcement <---CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
 Investigation into nuisance complaints and ordinance violations.

Serves to log, inventory, and maintain the security and accuracy of evidence.  

 

St. Clair County Regional Special Response Team <---CLICK FOR INFORMATION

The Special Response Team conducts semi-monthly training in firearms proficiency, tactical operations and communications, less lethal munitions, hostage response training, search warrant service and execution, defensive tactics, response to barricaded subjects, and proficient use of surveillance robots and the Bearcat Armored Vehicle.
